Bounding the Upper Delays of the Tactile Internet Using Deterministic Network Calculus

With the increasing popularity of time-sensitive network applications and gradual integration Tactile Internet into people’s lives, how to ensure ultra-low latency has become a demand challenge for performance. Therefore, it is extremely important analyze performance Internet. In this paper, we propose an analytical model based on deterministic calculus (DNC) quantitatively derive end-to-end bounds Internet, develop tandem describing communication network, delay-related traffic parameters, such as arrival rate burst size. We investigate variation accuracy DNC measurement under different verify proposed by theoretical derivation analysis comparison with NS3 platform. discuss impact relevant parameters delay boundaries determine which configuration enables meet established requirements. This will provide valuable guidance design architectures.
